ChaNJe Money Matters (or CMM for short) has been in operating for six years and continues to grow by offering money management services such as bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation, and financial discipline programs. The daughter of two Grenadian parents, Nefertiti was born in Brooklyn, NY and was raised back home in Grenada where her journey into becoming a respected numbers cruncher would begin.
It was in the back office of her father’s convenience store that she would begin to hone her skills as a money manager. By the age of 10 Nefertiti was already managing her father’s entire store; cooking fresh food for sale, working the register, counting the money down, managing payroll, and even doing bank runs. Learning the value of money and hard work would serve her in the years to come.
After graduation high school in Grenada Nefertiti would return the United States to attend Old Dominion University and Walden University where she would earn a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice (Minor in Chemistry), and a dual Master’s degree in Accounting & Business Management. After years of experience accounting, banking and real estate work she would go on to open ChaNJe Money Matters. Lisette Davis is a rum connoisseur, chocolatier, and hotelier. The vivacious, eclectic entrepreneur has spent the last twelve years mastering in rum – a passion that culminated in her decision to open a boutique resort on the island of Grenada featuring all things rum. RumBoat Retreat – the fitting title for the rum-focused resort, immerses guests in rum pairings, rum-masterclasses and rum-infused cuisine to list a few. It’s unique focus on rum has landed Davis riveting features in the Times Travel, the New York Times, Luxuria Lifestyle, E-Turbo News and in the inflight magazines of British Airways, and LIAT, to name a few. Davis’ most recent fascination with the spirit has led to the creation of Gabut – bespoke, rum-infused chocolate bon bons, a signature at upscale events and luxury resorts. In her spare time, the former Caribbean Development Manager for Plantation Rum, travels the world judging rum competitions in Germany,
